Drag to rotate; Shift-drag to pan; scroll or use the slider to zoom. This is the actual verified 85604 geometry, shown over the full 72° simulation wedge. Colors identify regions, not plasma values. Native grid lines join saved cell centers; smooth rendering interpolates geometry only. Some toroidal display lines are omitted for clarity. This is not a camera/light model.

Coordinate names: simulation x = radial index, y = poloidal/parallel index, z = toroidal index. The physical XY patch lies in a small R–Z cross-section at one toroidal angle. The axis inset uses Cartesian X, Y, Z in metres, not those simulation indices. Target XZ is at fixed native y31. The patch’s 21 vertical samples interpolate neighboring rows; they do not add independent information.

The decoder produces a volume. Downstream training supervises x16–63, y20–31; target-only evaluation selects x16–63, y31, all toroidal samples. Clean replay separately supervises a complete input volume’s reconstruction. Geometry and region definitions
